Blue Lady, mythical solo by Carolyn Carlson created in 1983 has left unforgettable images in the world, crystallizing dreams, aspirations and emotions of thousands of spectators. By entrusting his solo to Tero Saarinen - an unforgettable experience of the Biennale in 2008 - The Carlson managed a masterstroke. Deeply bound by a common artistic vision, the same aesthetic, their Finnish background, Carolyn and Tero respond like the yin and yang. These intense artistic affiliations allow then the rare gift of a work reinvested by another being, another body density.. |

Le Figaro : Saarinen invigorates the choreography in a salutary modernity. And thanks to him, this poetic quest on ages and moods of a woman becomes a brilliant and upsetting reflection on the dance profession. |
