- Mon Pays St-Hilaire
In a little parish in Loire-Atlantique, the 20th century has changed the life of inhabitants more than any other epoch. The church in this little communit turns hundred this year and has been under repair since autumn. The repair works are a pretext for the inhabitants of the village to talk about the history of the village and its people.
They are all aged between 60 and 80 and they remember an era when the village used to be united: a simple life, traditional still, where children resembled their parents. The priests knew each family, and the Marquis of Juigné, a respectable deputee, had his own pew in the church.
This is the old story of a revolutionised social order that resurges; these are the souvenirs of a generation that has reached the dusk of its life.
