Le Globe

Two men come rushing back to Le Globe, a night club that’s situated in a dilapidated castle. The situation becomes a pretext for all forms of dance: together and in a frenzy, solos or duos applauded by the assembly, silent numbers performed by the twin fairies, acrobatics. The evening proceeds. Couples are formed, are unmade. Outside, the storm thickens and electrifies the body. The lightning fires up the dancing.

From a simple screenplay, Luc Riolon has extracted energetic and atypical images. The more the action intensifies, more the camera closes into the bodies and pirouettes around them.
