Here, the choreographer and his dancers perform Ram Dam, where dance, theatre and music blend together in a brouhaha that’s perfectly orchestrated.
Created in 1995, Ram Dam is a show in two parts and is placed under the sign of numbers. Ram, created during the Festival of dance in Cannes, makes fun of the statistics, the opinion polls and common places that our age is obsessed with. Dam, based on the universal history of numbers by the mathematician Georges Ifrah, proves, with the help of twelve dancers, that each man resembles his neighbour, that a bully resembles a victim…
